1. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be taken on record.

2. The petitioner applied for transfer within the District of South 24 Parganas from Pathar Pratima Circle to Kulpi Circle-I on the ground of distance. The petitioner claims to have completed five years service.

3. In those circumstances, the Chairman, District Primary School Council, South 24 Parganas shall consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation in accordance with law subject to availability of vacancy and after complying with all necessary Rules including the pupil-teacher ratio within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of the application.

4. The petitioner had earlier applied under the Utsashree Portal, which is not available any more. The petitioner may apply afresh offline along with a copy of

this order as well as the writ petition as expeditiously as possible.

5. The consideration of the petitioner's application shall also be effected offline within a period of twelve weeks from the petitioner's application.

6. With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

7. There will be no order as to costs.

8. All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
