Affidavit of service filed in Court is taken on record.x Despite service of notice, Howrah Municipal Corporation is not represented. State is represented.

The petitioner is the widow of one Kailash Singh, who was a Group D employee of the Howrah Municipal Corporation. The pension payment order issued to the deceased on 30.04.2013 contains the name of the petitioner as wife. The said Kailash Singh, pensioner died on 15.03.2020 and the Howrah Municipal Corporation has not released family pension to the petitioner.

In those circumstances, the respondent nos. 4 and 5 shall consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.12.2020 within a period

of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and shall release pension to the petitioner together with arrears within a period of one month thereof.

The petitioner undertakes to supply any document that the Howrah Municipal Corporation may require from her. The decision taken by the respondent nos. 4 and 5 shall be communicated to the petitioner within seven days thereof.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all formalities.
