It appears that the Pradhan of Achintyanagar Gram Panchayat, South 24-Parganas by a letter dated February 9, 2023, has asked the petitioner to approach the authority with necessary documents.

Under such circumstances, no further orders are required to be passed. The authority will act and proceed in accordance with law and take necessary steps to issue the heirship certificate in respect of all the heirs. Notice shall be issued to the heirs if disputes arise. If there are rival claims or disputes with regard to the heirship of the deceased, in that case parties shall get their rights adjudicated by a civil court.

The writ petition is, thus, disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Parties are to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
