The prayer of the petitioner for renewal of Long Term Mining Lease is under consideration of the Additional District Magistrate and District Land & Land Reforms Officer, Purba Bardhaman, the respondent no. 3 herein.

The said respondent vide Memo No.

28/532/MM/2019 dated September 03, 2019 had issued notice for hearing on the said prayer of the petitioner.

The grievance of the petitioner is that till date no decision of the said hearing has been communicated to him.

WPA 923 of 2020 is disposed of by directing the respondent no. 3 to communicate his decision on the issue of the prayer of the

petitioner for renewal of the said Long Term Mining Lease within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order. No order as to costs.

Since no affidavit-in-opposition has been invited the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
