Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioners be kept with the record.

The petitioners are the parents, who have been physically assaulted and bleeding injuries inflicted upon them by the private respondents, who are the son and the daughter-in-law.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners are aggrieved by the fact that in order to protect the private respondents, the police authorities incorporated sections for paving the way for bail of the said accused persons.

I find from the police report that charge sheet has already been submitted in connection with the case which was registered being H.P. Costal P.R. No. 326/24 dated December 16, 2024.

If the petitioners are aggrieved by any police action or inaction, the petitioners would

be at liberty to approach the jurisdictional Magistrate with specific prayer. The learned Magistrate would apply his mind to the prayer so advanced.

In view of the petitioners being the aged persons and have been allegedly subjected to torture by the son and the daughter-in-law, I direct the Officer-in-Charge/Inspector-in-Charge of the local Police Station who would deploy a lady police personnel for visiting the house on every alternative day for a period of four weeks in order to assess and ascertain whether any further physical or mental torture is inflicted upon the petitioners, in case any untoward incident is brought to the notice of the concerned police personnel, a report be submitted before the jurisdictional Court which is in seisin of the matter who would take steps by altering, modifying the conditions to the extent that at least the respondent no.7 is directed to stay outside the jurisdiction of the said Police Station.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 1857 of 2025 is disposed of.

The report so submitted be kept with the record. The copy of the report be handed over to the learned Advocates for the appearing parties.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
