By consent of the parties CRM (A) 465 of 2022 is treated as on the days list and taken up for consideration. Re: CRM (A) 465 of 2022 Petitioner seeks anticipatory bail.

The police are investigating the petitioner, inter alia, under Section 498A and 302 of the Indian Penal Code. The investigations are yet to be concluded.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein and considering the relationship between the victim and the petitioner as husband and wife, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The application for anticipatory bail, being CRM (A) 465 of 2022, is rejected.
