Learned Counsel for the petitioners submits there was prior enmity between the parties. Earlier criminal cases were registered against the de facto complainant and her husband. They pray for anticipatory bail.

Learned Counsel for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

We have considered the materials on record.

Though there was prior enmity between the parties statements of witnesses disclose that petitioners had brutally assaulted the victim resulting in serious fracture injuries. Ocular version is corroborated by medical evidence. Accordingly, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
