The petitioners are aggrieved by the fact that the private respondents are trying to construct a road in the property of the petitioners. To that effect, information was sent to the police, but the police authorities till date did not act upon such representation.

State has submitted a report which reflects that there were certain disputes and differences for which Mandarmoni Coastal Police Station has already drawn up a proceeding under Section 107 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. In view of the strained relationship between the petitioners and the private respondents, the police authorities would keep their surveillance and ensure that no breach of the peace or tranquility takes place and/or any untoward incident results because of

the inimical relationship existing between the parties.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 1603 of 2024 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
