Mr. Gupta, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the purpose for which the writ petition was preferred has been subserved. Police authorities are carrying out the investigation. Today's report reflects that the investigation is at the final stages and the police authorities are waiting for a final opinion in respect of certain reports to be received by them.

In view of the observations made above further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted. Accordingly, WPA 1834 of 2025 is disposed of. Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.
