1. Heard the learned Counsels for the parties.

2. We have considered the materials on record. Bail prayer of the petitioner had been rejected earlier on merits. Offence, if proved, would attract mandatory life imprisonment. Under such circumstances and in view of gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

3. The application for bail is, thus, rejected.

4. Trial court is requested to conduct the trial with utmost expedition and conclude the same at an early date. (Gaurang Kanth, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
