This is an application under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the writ petitioner is aggrieved by an order dated June 22, 2018 passed by the District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), South 24-Parganas rejecting the panel of clerk in question.

It is to be noted that this reasoned order was passed by the District Inspector of Schools pursuant to an order passed by a coordinate Bench of this Court in the year 2014. Firstly, it is to be seen that this order was passed in the month of June 2018 and a belated challenge to the same has been taken up by the writ petitioner without offering any explanation of the said inordinate delay. Secondly, upon perusal of the reasoned order, I am satisfied that the order is not perverse and is based on a sound reasoning. In light of the same, I see no reason to interfere with the same. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. There will be no order as to costs.
