Mr. Debabrata Roy ...for the petitioners A direction to secure expeditious disposal of Title Suit No.1676 of 2011, now pending before learned Judge, 2nd Bench, City Civil Court, at Calcutta, is the ultimate relief sought for in this case.

Admittedly, the suit was instituted in the year 2011 by the petitioners/plaintiffs, and it was dismissed for default sometime in 2018. Subsequently, the suit was registered to its original file and number in 2021. The only contention expressed by the learned advocate for the petitioners is against delay caused in the disposal of the suit.

In view of the nature of order proposed to be made in this case, no prior notice is considered to be necessary. Service upon the opposite parties is thus dispensed with.

Accordingly, learned Judge, 2nd Bench, City Civil Court, at Calcutta, in Title Suit No.1676 of 2011, is requested to ensure expeditious disposal of the pending suit, after causing disposal of the interlocutory

application, if there be any pending, providing sufficient opportunity of hearing to either of the parties to this case, but without granting any unnecessary adjournment, unless it is extremely unavoidable. Petitioners are directed to make communication of this order to the learned court below as well as to the learned advocate appearing in the court below for the opposite parties and opposite parties.

With this observation/direction, the revisional application stands disposed of.
