Petitioners Mr. Tarun Jyoti Tiwari For the Petitioners Mr. Swapan Banerjee Mrs. Purnima Ghosh For the State Mr. Tiwari, learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that considering the fact that there was a political rivalry between the parties, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners was allowed by an order dated 21st January, 2020 in C.R.M. 702 of 2020. However, due to extreme financial stringency, the petitioners could not make necessary arrangements and surrender before the learned Court below within the time as directed in the said order and, accordingly, he prays for extension of time to surrender before the learned Court below.

Mr. Banerjee, learned advocate appearing for the State, submits that upon completion of investigation, charge sheet has already been filed on 28th February, 2020.

Upon hearing the learned advocates appearing for the respective parties and considering the materials on record, we are satisfied with the explanation given towards the inability of the petitioners to appear before the learned Court below and to pray for regular bail within the time, as specified in the order dated 21st January, 2020.

Accordingly, the present application is allowed directing the petitioners to surrender before the learned Court below positively within ten days from date.

The application, being C.R.A.N. 1 of 2020 (Old C.R.A.N. 1299 of 2020) is, accordingly, disposed of.
