Petitioner is an owner of a shop which is operating for photo copies and allied activities. The accusations so far as the present petitioner is that the petitioner facilitated in preparation of certain forged documents, particularly finger prints in respect of certain Aadhaar Cards which were shown to be genuine.

Learned advocate submits that even if the accusations are taken to be correct, the petitioner's role was in respect of

certain peripheral activities and were not involved in the inward action of commission of any forgery.

Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail. Records reflect charge sheet has already been submitted on October, 2025 and petitioner is in custody since 14th July, 2025.

Having regard to the nature of accusations, as a matter of last chance, two months time is granted to the prosecution to progress with the case. If there is hardly any progress of the case, petitioner would be at liberty to approach this Court after 30th June, 2026.

At this stage, CRM (M) 247 of 2026 is dismissed. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
