Petitioner seeks bail.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the police complaint is as a result of love relationship going sour. He highlights the period of detention of the petitioner and the fact that the police filed charge-sheet.

Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the statement recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the victim and the fact that the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner was rejected on May 21, 2021.

Considering the statements recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the victim and considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M.(DB) 287 of 2022 is rejected.
