The petitioner is aggrieved by the alleged inaction of Sagarpara Police Station.

The petitioner has complained, inter alia, on 8th February, 2020 that the private respondents are obstructing his entry into his land and cultivation thereof.

This Court is of the view that the remedy of the petitioner is before an appropriate Civil Court. Since there is threat of breach of peace in the area, the Officer-in-charge, Sagarpara Police Station shall ensure that there is absolutely no breach of peace and strict vigil shall be maintained.

The petitioner's request for police protection shall be considered by the Superintendent of Police, Murshidabad after assessing the threat perception and costs of such police protection shall be borne by the petitioner.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
