The learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the present petitioners are aunt-in-law and uncle-in-law of the victim/deceased. The learned advocate further submits that the husband, mother-in-law and the brother-in-law of the victim, after being arrested, have already been granted bail and the present petitioners are in custody for 74 (seventy-four) days. She further submits that the investigation has already been concluded and as such, further detention of the petitioners for the purpose of investigation is unwarranted.

The learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the victim committed suicide by hanging within a period of five years of marriage and the present petitioners along with the other petitioners were involved in the alleged offence. We have perused the materials in the case diary including the statements of the witnesses and we are of the opinion that the present petitioners are similarly situated with the other co-accused persons, who have already been granted bail. As such, further detention of the petitioners is unwarranted and the prayer for bail of the petitioners is

allowed.

Accordingly, the petitioners, namely, Minati Saren @ Soren and Debasis Saren @ Soren, shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- each with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bishnupur, Bankura.

The application for bail being CRM No.780 of 2021 is disposed of.
