The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher of the subject 'Pure Science' at Daulatabad Nisith Barani Sinha High School (H.S), District: Murshidabad.

The petitioner applied for general transfer through the 'Utsashree Portal' and the same was allowed, in consequence thereof, the West Bengal Central School Service Commission('the Commission' in short) had recommended transfer of the petitioner to Boral High School, H.S, District-24-Parganas (South) but he could not join in the said school for lack of vacancy in the relevant subject.

The petitioner applied before the Chairman of the Commission, the respondent no. 3 herein for rerecommendation. The grievance of the petitioner is that the said application has not yet been attended.

The respondent no. 3 is directed to consider and dispose of the said application as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order, after giving the petitioner an opportunity of hearing. W.P.A. 1640 of 2024 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited from the respondents, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by them.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
