Learned advocae appearing for the petitioner refers to the complaint dated May 16, 2020. He submits that the police did not act thereon.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the police enquired into the complaint and on the basis of the enquiry found that, there were disputes between the private parties with regard to an immovable property. The police submitted a prosecution under Section 107 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

The complaint dated May 16, 2020 of the petitioner refers to a dispute with regard to an immovable property. It is claimed by the petitioner

that the private respondents tried to enter into the land belonging to the petitioner to make a fishery project thereon forciably. The police enquired into the complaint of the petitioner and submitted a prosecution under Section 107 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Apparently, the disputes between the private parties are civil in nature and relate to an immovable property. Private parties are at liberty to avail of their remedies before the appropriate forum in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the writ petition being W.P.A 2046 of 2021 is disposed of.
