In course of hearing, Mr. Basu, learned senior advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the last witness is being examined and next date has been fixed on 28th February, 2022. Such fact has not been disputed by Mr. Bardhan, learned advocate appearing for the State.

Considering the stage of the trial, the petitioner's prayer for bail is refused at this stage. However, the learned court below is directed to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of three months from the date of communication of this order. The application for bail being CRM(NDPS) No.134 of 2022 is dismissed.
