2. The grievance of the petitioner is directed against non-supply of an electric connection. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that despite having made an application as far back as in December, 2025, the respondent/CESC has not considered the same.

On behalf of the respondent/CESC Limited it is submitted that the petitioner has not applied in the prescribed format in accordance with the Act and Rules framed thereunder. There was an earlier connection in

respect of the said premises which has been voluntarily withdrawn.

2. In view of the above, WPA/1945/2026 stands disposed of by directing the petitioner to apply for a fresh electricity connection in accordance with law and after complying with all necessary prescribed formalities. If such application is filed, the CESC Limited is directed to consider the same in accordance with law.
