A report filed on behalf of the State is taken on record. Copy of the same is handed over to the petitioner appearing in person.

Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that after an order was passed by this Court on 20.07.2023, a thorough investigation was conducted. On 24.03.2023 a team of officer and force of Lake Police Station went to Shalimpur Garden Police Station and with the assistance of local police station they conducted raid and search for the accused Sarfaraz Alam. But, he was not found. After completion of the investigation a charge-sheet being Charge Sheet no.110 dated 23.10.2024 was submitted

under Section 420 of the Penal Code. On 08.07.2024, the learned CJM, Alipore issued summons against the accused Sarfaraz Alam.

Therefore, it appears that the police and the Investigation Agency have conducted the investigation and filed a charge-sheet against the absconding accused.

It is quite obvious that necessary consequential steps would follow in due course. In view of the above, I do not find that a case of contempt of Court is made out.

Accordingly, the application for contempt is dismissed, however, without any order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
