For the State The Murshidabad Zilla Parishad has floated a notice inviting e-auction No. MSD/10/2020-2021 (2nd call) by Memo No. 188/ZP dated 15th January, 2021. The petitioner is aggrieved as the base rate mentioned in the said notice inviting auction has been raised from 10% to 20%. The learned advocate representing the Murshidabad Zilla Parishad submits that it is the policy decision of the Zilla Parishad according to which the base rate has been enhanced.

The Court does not think fit to interfere in this matter at the stage. The Murshidabad Zilla Parishad has adopted a policy by which they are enhanced the base rate. There is no apparent illegality in enhancing the base rate by the Zilla Parishad.

WPA 2094 of 2021 stands dismissed.
