It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that Title Suit 113 of 2013 was filed before the learned Civil Judge, Junior Division, 1st Court, Malda in the year 2013, and upon complying with all the formalities, the deposition of the witnesses was started on 20th June 2017 but even today the evidence of PW-2 has not yet been completed and it becomes uncertain as to when the suit would be disposed of.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a direction may be made for expeditious disposal of the suit.

In view of the above, the learned trial court is directed to make expeditious trial of the suit and to dispose of the same preferably within a period of one year from the date of communication of the order without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

C.O 178 of 2019 is thus disposed of.
