Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that there has been interference with peaceful enjoyment of the property at the behest of the private respondents and in spite of informing the police authorities they are not taking any action.

Learned advocate for the private respondents submits that civil court is already in seisin of the matter. There is an order of status quo having been passed.

Mr. Samanta, learned advocate appearing for the State has submitted a report detailing the steps

taken by the police authorities as also the action taken by them and thereafter coming to an opinion that the dispute is absolutely civil in nature and police authorities have nothing to interfere so far as the issues are concerned.

However, all steps have been taken by the police authorities to prevent any untoward incident. In view of the nature of the dispute complained of and the civil court being already in seisin of the matter, I direct the police authorities to continue to keep surveillance and to ensure that there is a strict vigil and there is no breach of peace and tranquility at the locale and/or any untoward incident arising from the inimical relationship existing between the parties. With the aforesaid observations WPA 1953 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to both the parties.
