By this writ petition petitioner has challenged the impugned order of detention of the car in question by claiming to be owned by it and the impugned order of imposition of penalty.

Petitioner alleges that the action of detaining car in question of the petitioner is not in accordance with law and prays for order of release of the same. I am of the considered view that petitioner should make an appropriate representation in accordance with the relevant provision of law before the authority concerned for releasing of the car in question and against the impugned order of imposition of penalty and if such representation is

made by the petitioner within a week from date the respondent concerned shall consider and dispose of the same in accordance with law and by passing a reasoned and speaking order after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner or its authorised representatives, within two weeks from the date of receipt of such representation.

With this observation and direction this writ petition being WPA 1802 of 2023 is disposed of. (Md. Nizamuddin, J.)
