Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that all relevant witnesses were examined. The petitioner is in custody for four years and ten months and, therefore, prayer for bail should be considered.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State submits that the witness action is ongoing and the next date fixed is on February 9, 2022.

There is hardly any material change in circumstances subsequent to the earlier order of rejection. Prayer for bail is rejected.

It would be appropriate to request the learned Court in seisin of the trial Court to dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

CRM (DB) 307 of 2022 is rejected.
