The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that he is not being allowed to enter the residence.

Mr. Sengupta, learned advocate appears for the State. Earlier a report was submitted prepared by Officer-in-Charge, Belda Police Station.

Learned advocate appearing for the respondent no.4 submits that the respondent no.4, who happens to be the brother of the petitioner, has no objection, if the petitioner enters the residence.

Since on instructions, learned advocate for the respondent no.4 has made such submissions before this Court, I am of the opinion that the police authorities have got no role to play. Accordingly, the nature of the dispute, if any, is reduced to a private dispute. Consequently, further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted.

The writ petition being WPA 2152 of 2025 is, thus, disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
