The writ petitioner complains of alleged inaction on the part of the police in investigating into Raidighi P. S. Case No. 40 of 2022.

Counsel for the State submits that charge sheet has already been submitted in respect of the said FIR being Charge Sheet No. 53 of 2022 dated 14.02.2022. Counsel for the petitioner submits that he is unable to enter his residence although his family members are residing thereat. Threat is stated to have come from the private respondents.

Counsel for the private respondents denies such allegations.

It is also submitted that certain complaints by the private respondents against the petitioner are also being investigated by the Raidighi Police Station. Be that as it may, without entering into the propriety of the allegations of the petitioner, the Officer-in-Charge, Raidighi Police Station shall ensure

that the petitioner is able to enter into his residence and live peacefully. Strict vigil shall be maintained by the police around the residence of the petitioner so that there is no breach of peace.

If any further complaint is received from the petitioner, Raidighi Police Station shall look into the matter immediately.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
