In view of the communication dated 10th January, 2022 by the Registrar to Mr. Monoranjan Jana, Advocate, it appears that pursuant to summons and/or letters to the client of Mr. Jana, the complainant did not appear before the Committee on several occasions. I.C.C. could not proceed further to complete the proceeding drawn up based on such complaint and consequently proceeding could not be concluded. Therefore, alleged violation is not willful and deliberate.

With the aforesaid observation, the contempt petition being CPAN 99 of 2022 is accordingly disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. We also record the submission of Mr. Amitava Chaudhuri, learned Counsel for the alleged contemnors that the proceeding has been abandoned by the I.C.C. (Saugata Bhattacharyya, J.) (Soumen Sen, J.)
