The State of West Bengal Ms. Devi Priya Mitra .. for the petitioner Since the petitioners seek expeditious disposal of Sessions Trial No.13(12)17 pending before the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Fast Track Court, Ranaghat, Nadia, the matter may be taken up for consideration without service of notice upon the opposite party.

The opposite party shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the case.

This court is informed that out of 18 charge-sheeted witnesses only one witness has been examined in part till date. In view of the pendency of the case for considerable period of time, the learned trial court is directed to take the proceeding to its logical conclusion within two years from the next date of hearing fixed before him without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law. CRR 375 of 2025 is accordingly disposed of.
