In terms of the earlier order dated 16th April, 2021 chemical examination report has been produced and it, prima facie, appears that the sample sent for examination is narcotic substance. In view of the fact that commercial quantity of narcotic substance has been recovered from the custody of the petitioner, we are not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. The investigating authority shall file a supplementary chargesheet within a period of two weeks from date and thereafter, we request the learned trial court to proceed with the matter as expeditiously as possible considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody over one year three months.

A photostat copy of the chemical examination report produced before this Court is kept with the record.

The personal appearance of the in inspector-in-charge, Chopra Police Station, is dispensed with.

Accordingly, the application for bail being CRM No.819 of 2021 is

rejected.
