The report indicates that the new service connection at the petitioner's premises could not be effected due to the lack of way-leave from respondent Nos. 7, 8, and 10, as their land is required for effecting the connection. In light of this, I grant liberty to the petitioner to submit a representation before the concerned District Magistrate, in accordance with Rule 3(b) of the Works of Licensees Rules, 2006, within one month from the date of this order.

If such a representation is made, the concerned District Magistrate shall consider it, after providing an opportunity for a hearing to the petitioner, respondent nos.7,8 and 10 in this writ petition, and the

representatives of WBSEDCL, within one month thereafter.

Accordingly, WPA 1916 of 2025 is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
