Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that, in the report in the form of an affidavit filed by the respondent authorities, most of the queries of the petitioners have been satisfied. However, certain doubts still remain as to satisfaction of query nos. 1, 8 and 9.

Heard learned counsel for the parties.

Since query nos. 8 and 9, as rightly pointed out by learned counsel for the respondent authorities, pertain to virtually the same piece of

property, it would suffice if the petitioners apply for certified copies of extracts of the records and/or a copy of the order of vesting. With regard to query no. 1, the same also pertains to a copy of an order, a certified copy of which can very well be issued on the application of the petitioners.

Accordingly, WPA No. 1848 of 2023 and WPA No. 1850 of 2023 are disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioners to apply for the relevant extracts of the records as well as the relevant copy of the order of vesting pertaining to query nos. 8 and 9 of the petitioners, which relate to the 0.52 acres of land of RS and LR Dag no. 608, JL No. 320, Mouza- Shasinda, DistrictPaschim Medinipur, as well as to apply for certified copy of the order as per query no. 1 of the petitioners, which also pertains to the same property.

In the event such copies are applied for in due course by the petitioners and subject to compliance of formalities in that regard by the petitioners, the respondent authorities shall issue certified copies / extracts of records to the petitioners at the earliest, preferably within six

weeks from the date of such application being made by the petitioners.

The report filed today be kept on record.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
