Petitioner is in custody for two years and three months. He submits there is inordinate delay in trial. He renews his prayer for bail.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the bail prayer. We have considered the materials on record. Trial court noted delay in trial is due to the conduct of the petitioner. One witness has been examined since rejection of bail by this Court.

Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

Trial court is requested to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties. Parties shall co-operate with the trial Court in that regard.
