On prayer of the petitioners, liberty is granted to implead the Special Land Acquisition Officer, Hooghly as respondent no.7 in the writ petition.

The cause title of the writ petition be amended accordingly.

The innocuous prayer of the petitioners is for consideration of their representation submitted before the concerned authority on 6th September, 2018.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the 7th respondent be directed to consider the representation in accordance with law.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 7th respondent to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 6th September, 2018 within one month from the date of communication of this order upon affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the interested persons including the petitioners, in accordance with law.

The decision taken by the authority shall be communicated to the petitioners within a week thereof. With the aforesaid directions, WPA 753 of 2019 is disposed of.

There shall however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit in opposition is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted.
