The petitioner says that he is innocent and has been falsely entangled with this case. He is in custody for a considerable period of time. Investigation process is over. The age of the victim is about 30 years. So, no fruitful purpose will be served by detaining this accused petitioner behind the bar.

Learned Advocate for the State raises objection by submitting that there are sufficient incriminating materials which show about prima facie involvement of this petitioner with the alleged offence. After completion of the investigation charge sheet has already been filed

by the prosecuting agency. Offence involved in this case is serious in nature.

Perused the materials on record. We have gone through the statement of the victim girl as well as other documents which were collected by the Investigating Agency during course of investigation. Charge has not yet been framed. Keeping in mind the complicity of this petitioner with the alleged offence we are not inclined to enlarge him on bail.

The prayer for bail is rejected at this stage. 5.

CRM (DB) 479 of 2025 is dismissed.
