Learned Advocate for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent of the charges and have been falsely implicated in the present case on the basis of statement of coaccused. Mr. Bitasok Banerjee, learned Advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and submits that 425 bottles of phensedyl along with 1.5 kgs of contraband (Ganja) were recovered. He also draws the attention of this Court to the statements of the witnesses.

Having regard to the nature of allegations, which are appearing from the statements of different witnesses, we are of the opinion that this is not a fit case for releasing the petitioners on anticipatory bail. As such, the prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.

Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail, being CRM 840 of 2021, is dismissed.
