The petitioner's prayer in this writ application is for setting aside the memo no. 163 Law (4) dated 14th August, 2018 and for granting him post-facto approval as Headmaster of Class X High School with effect from 22.01.2007. From page 49 of the writ application, which is the impugned order passed by the District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), Purba Medinipore, I do not find any illegality or infirmity as the school was upgraded as the high school with a stipulation that no financial assistance was to be given by the State Government, which was made clear in the order of upgradation dated 22.01.2007, given by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education. When the school has accepted the status of High School, the school has also accepted the condition of not granting any financial

assistance for the up-graded classes of the said school. Now there cannot be any prayer whatsoever, absolutely, for payment of any money to the school or salary to any teacher or any other staff by the State Government or from the public exchequer for working in the school in the up-graded classes i.e. IX and X.

In this view of the matter, this writ application is dismissed.
