The bail petition is taken up for consideration for the second time today. On the previous occasion, noticing the petitioner was not present, request was made to the learned Advocate for the State to inform the learned Advocate for the petitioner about the pendency of the matter.

The learned Advocate appearing for the State submits that he personally informed the learned Advocate for the petitioner. The learned Advocate for the State draws attention of the Court to the statement recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure made by one of the injured persons. Considering the Case Diary and the gravity of the offence, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

The application for anticipatory bail, being CRM 843 of 2021 is thus dismissed.
