Manik Pradhan v. State Of West Bengal And ORS.
02.03.2021.
W.P.A. 2217 of 2021 sk Ct. 15 Manik Pradhan Vs. State of West Bengal & Ors. Mr. Srikanta Datta ...for the petitioner.
Mr. Ratul Biswas ...for the State.
Mr. Datta, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that as the petitioner was not handed over the mark-sheet and certificate by the Board of Primary Education within the specified time, it is the duty of the Board to allow the petitioner to sit for interview after the last date.
Mr. Biswas, learned Counsel appearing for the Board submits that without proper documents, no student should be allowed to sit for the interview. Heard both the parties.
I agree with Mr. Biswas that the procedure which has been laid down for taking interview should be followed by the institution like West Bengal Board of Primary Education because it is catering to lakhs of students and consideration as prayed for by the petitioner should not be allowed.
The writ petition is disposed of.
There will be no order as to costs.
