Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that although, the recovery is of commercial quantity of contraband but petitioner is anxious regarding the whereabouts and the medical condition of the petitioner, who has been presently detained at Berhampore Jail.

If the petitioner takes out an application, learned trial Court will seek an exhaustive report from the concerned Jail Authorities and apprise the learned advocate for the petitioner before the learned trial Court.

However, the learned trial Court would adhere to the direction passed above.

As such, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

With the aforesaid observations CRM (NDPS) 188 of 2026 is disposed of.

All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
