Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the earlier direction, petitioner is renewing his prayer for bail.

I have taken into account the evidence of the seizure list witnesses. One witness has supported the case, although one witness did not support the case. Having regard to the fact that the petitioner has evaded the process of law for about three and a half years and the trial has commenced and one of the witnesses supported the case of the prosecution, some more opportunity is required to be granted to the prosecution. Accordingly, if within a period of six months, the trial of the case is not concluded, the learned Trial Court would release the petitioner on bail as the quantity of seizure in the present case is of 170 bottles of

phensedyl. Learned Trial Court under those circumstances would ensure the appearance of the petitioner in day-to-day proceedings of the case.

With the aforesaid observations, the application for bail, being CRM (NDPS) 189 of 2026, is disposed of. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
