The petitioner has alleged that the installation of the meter poses a threat to his life.

Pursuant to the Court's direction, CESC has submitted a report. The relevant portion of the said report is reproduced below:

"1. During inspection, petitioner was present but no was available on behalf of the private respondents. At site we found that the petitioner has a two storied building and the private respondents have a one storied building. Both the buildings are structurally separated by a boundary wall.

2. Petitioner has a separate meter room at her occupied portion.

Petitioner submitted that private respondents have constructed a meter room by encroaching her land. Meter room of the respondent no.4 is situated opposite

side of the boundary wall of the petitioner. Question of cause any hazard whatsoever to the petitioner does not arise.

3. A photograph of the meter room of the respondent no.4 is enclosed."

There is no reason to doubt the veracity of the report submitted by CESC.

In view of the above, no further issue remains to be adjudicated in the present writ petition.

The allegations made by the petitioner appear to be unsubstantiated.

A copy of the report has been handed over to the learned advocate representing the petitioner. Accordingly, WPA 2067 of 2025 is dismissed.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
