Heard learned Advocates for both the parties. 2.

We have considered the materials on record. Dispute arose over stealing vegetables from the field. It is contended victim was falsely accused as a thief and committed suicide. However, no suicide note disclosing involvement of the petitioners is placed on record. Under such circumstances, we are of the opinion custodial interrogation of the petitioners is not necessary and they may be granted anticipatory bail. 3.

Accordingly, we direct in the event of arrest, the petitioners, namely, (1) Goutam Poddar, (2) Sambal Biswas, (3) Rajib Das, (4) Kakuli Das, (5) Sanjay Kumar Mandal @ Mondal & (6) Shankar Mandal @ Mondal, be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) each, with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 and on further condition that the Signed By : ARUP KUMAR DAS High Court of Calcutta 10 th of February 2025 01:37:53 PM

petitioners shall appear before the jurisdictional court and pray for regular bail within four weeks from date.
