The prayer of the writ petitioners is not to give effect to serial no. 6 of the advertisement published on 16th November, 2020 for appointment of fair price shop. The ground of the petitioners for such prayer is that in the year 2014 an order was passed by this court for disposal of a representation of the petitioners which has not been disposed of for last nearly seven years. The petitioners have not taken any steps for consideration of this representation pursuant to the order passed by this court on 2nd April, 2014 in W.P. 10246(W) of 2014.

Now the prayer of the petitioners on the ground that as their representation was not considered

following the court's direction this fair price shop at serial no.6 of the said advertisement which is at page 33, being Annexure P-7 of the writ application, cannot be processed, is not at all acceptable to this court. On instruction, learned advocate appearing for the respondent authorities has stated that in response to this advertisement the petitioners have already applied for this fair price shop but the petitioners vehemently deny to such submission and submits that none of the petitioners have applied for this shop at serial no.6.

In view of the above, the writ application is not entertained and the same is dismissed.
