1. Mr. Basu, learned Advocate for the appellant/Municipal Corporation of Chandernagore is present.

2. On perusal of the report dated 10.06.2024 as submitted by Dibakar Sadhukhan, SI of Police, Chandannagar P.S. it reveals that the respondent no. 2, Gobinda Chandra Ghosh expired on February 29, 2024.

3. Since both the respondents have died during the pendency of the instant appeal. The instant appeal stood abated as against the respondents.

4. With the aforementioned finding, CRA 253 of 1983 is disposed of.

5. Department is directed to send down the LCR along with a copy of this order forthwith.
