The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that his representation made to Taltala Police Station dated 17th January, 2025 was not considered in spite of the petitioner disclosing the incidents which makes out cognizable offence(s).

An application has been preferred being CAN 1 of 2025 by the applicants.

In view of the earlier writ petitions

being WPA 29400 of 2024 and WPA 29159 of 2024 having been decided by this Hon'ble Court, wherein, the petitioner was a party, I am of the view that since the said property is the same, the petitioner do have a locus.

Accordingly, the application for Addition of Party, being CAN 1 of 2025 preferred by the applicants is allowed. The petitioner is directed to add the five applicants as 'Added Respondents'

mentioned in the writ petition and a copy of the writ petition be handed over to Mr.

Basu, learned advocate for the Added Respondents.

Report submitted by the State reflects that the police authorities intend to work out on the information furnished dated 17.01.2025 which was received by the concerned police station on 22.01.2025. However, in spite of best of their efforts the petitioner, namely, Syed Ekram Hussain, could not be found. The

mobile number which was furnished along with the communication in spite of being attempted on several occasions, the police authorities could not establish any contact.

Learned advocate for the petitioner disputes the same and submits that on several occasions the petitioner had been to the police station. However, in spite of the same, he was not heard.

In view of the nature of the accusations, I direct that the petitioner would visit Taltala police station between 7.30 pm to 8.30 pm on 06.02.2025. The Officer-in-charge and/or any officer deputed by him will enquire and record the statement before disposing of the representation dated 17.01.2025.

The outcome of the representation may be communicated to the petitioner within a period of 15 days from the date of taking such decision.

With the aforesaid observations,

WPA 1944 of 2025 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.
