The instant writ petition was preferred for seeking specific direction upon the respondent authority to dispose of departmental appeal preferred by the petitioner against the order in a disciplinary proceeding. This matter appears after five years. The petitioner was not appeared on the last occasion and today none represented the petitioner.

Considering the situation, it appears to me that the petitioner is not interested to proceed with this matter. Thus, the instant writ petition is dismissed for default. Any interim order of say passed during pendency of the instant matter is hereby vacated.
