Heard learned Advocates for both the parties. 2.

We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner is the husband of the victim wife. He assaulted her resulting in injuries. Medical report corroborates the statement of the victim. Petitioner does not stand on the same footing with co-accused i.e. the in-laws who have been granted pre-arrest bail. Hence, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to him.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner stands rejected.
